Having spent many years traveling and living in different parts of the world, I have always enjoyed discovering new places and people. Throughout these adventures, I have been inspired by people's stories, culture and natural surroundings to create pieces reflecting what I have observed and lived.

When I start a new piece, I have an idea of the direction in which I want to go. As I proceed, however, the piece might take another turn; the art ‘directing the artist’, if you will. This is an exciting aspect of the artistic process. 

My customers are from all origins and ages and will often tell me that a piece reminds them of someone or someplace. That is exactly how I feel when I create them. I enjoy those moments when people open up, and I see a smile on their face.
